Presidents Message

Dear Members,

You might be noticing something different about our website. This is our new website. We listened to your requests and have made it easier to navigate. We also changed the event registration so you will be able to sign on more than one person at a time. My sincere thanks to Julie Esler, our online chair for coordinating the site update and to Jonathon White for the redesign and his technical expertise. One of the features we have added is a Community News space. Please email us at connect@apaoc.org if there is anything new and of interest to share with our community.

I hope you were able to join us for the 2011 APAOC Paper and Substrate Show. Thirteen paper and substrate companies along with PIA participated. We had almost 200 in attendance from print producers to students. We kept the Rock-Paper-Scissors theme and were please to offer a silhouetted (scissors) artist and wine sampling for the attendees. Thank you to our sponsors and the Board for making this another successful event.

2011 was a great year. I want to extend my sincere appreciation to the Board of Directors for their hard work and dedication. Through the year, we have strived to keep our members abreast of current topics in a friendly, professional arena for networking in our specialized career: print production management .
